 --About Character Introductions--

What is it?
A Character Introduction is a two-part blurb about your character, intended for other players to read. The player has entire control of what is included in the introduction, and is allowed to be as creative as possible with it. This is where any character pictures are to be displayed, and any bit of information or description that the players wishing others to know.

The brief description
The first half of the Introduction is the brief description of your character, where you describe what another character would gather as a first impression of him or her. It can be as short or detailed as you wish, as long as it is still considered concise. You can even copy parts of your character sheet onto it. You can choose to put a character image here, or in the extended introduction.

The extended introduction
Imediately following the brief description is the extended intro of your character, and is entirely optional. Here is where you have entirely free reign. The introduction can be anything from a short bit of dialogue, to a longer short story, to a more in depth description. Some players choose to write something from their character's point of view, in something like a journal entry or something. Some choose to keep it short and cryptic. There is no right or wrong, and you should not feel obligated to write something long and elaborate, or have one at all. It's all up to you. You can choose to put a character image here, in the brief description, or both.

Turning it in
To turn in a Character Introduction, just send the version you wish to be posted to any mod, and they will put it up. You should at least have your brief description when you send it in, as the extended introduction part is optional. And, you can make edits at any time by letting a mod know what you would like done.

See the Example introduction for a humorous idea of a possible format.
